Layer of Guilt We consider if we feel we should carry our guilt or if we should ask for forgiveness because God in Christ has forgiven us.

Layer of Anger We consider if our anger has gotten out of control so that we must forgive those who have caused us to be angry with God’s help.

Stalled Growth We consider if a denial of our own sin which turns us away from God has caused a stalled growth in our faith.

Layer of Grief Grief can cause us to turn away from God instead of sharing our pain with and drawing nearer to our ever present God.
