The whole of Creation has been overrun with Corruption and God chooses to wipe it out with a flood, but still finds favor with Noah. After the flood God sends a visual reminder of the covenant to never again wipe out Creation with a flood; it is an undrawn archer’s bow in the colors of Creation that signals the truce and every time we see it, it gives us hope.
