Our programming is geared for ages 4-16. Our young children’s Sunday school class, which is called Noah’s Arkademy, is a small but lively class. The teacher leads the children of the program in an interactive class setting that uses the skills of multiple intelligences in an effort to help the children truly engage with the stories of the bible. Our older children’s class, which is called Noah’s Ark Club leads the youth in learning the foundations of our faith. The students are challenged to think about their connection to the church and how it is that they can serve, even as a young person. They have focused on mission and how they are to be God’s hands and feet as they serve others.
Learn more: Each summer we offer a Vacation Bible School as part of the church’s outreach to the community. These programs are based on a theme and include Bible stories, arts and crafts, games, music, snacks and assembly times. The children participate in a mission project chosen from the Presbyterian Mission Agency catalog, such as providing clean water to Third world countries by raising money for a rainwater catchment system.
Learn more: Santa Claus poses for pictures with people that are taken by some trustworthy elves. While people wait for their pictures to be developed, there are crafts and snacks available. This event has a nominal fee for the picture.
Learn more: The church sponsors Boy Scout Troop 53 and Scout Girl Troop 1053 as part of our outreach mission to youth in the community. If you know of a young person who would be interested in joining either troop, please contact the Troop Committee Chairperson, Eric Perrmann at (513) 834-3048.
